As it turned out the morphing of one polygon, or even more generally a 2D shape, into another is not a trivial problem. Thus I am going to pursue some suggested solutions of this problem into detail in my yet to be written bachelor thesis, starting with different approaches of corner detection algorithms. Next I will analyse a new solution for the vortex correspondence problem between two different shapes.

As you may have noticed already talk will begiven and thesis will be written in English.
